• My name is Christine and thank you for visiting my blog! I'm currently residing in Philadelphia and my day job is an actuary. I spend the majority of my time either in front of a computer or studying actuarial manuals. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FOOD! My favorite store is the grocery store (oh and Ulta). I am a firm believer that online shopping during exam crunch time is pure therapy.
• Why are you writing?
• I have always been a planner. I tend to be that kind of person that loves to map out my life. Unfortunately I don't often meet the goals that I have planned out for myself (re: actuarial exams), but take my on a vacation with you and I'll be your travel agent! My 16 year old self would be disappointed that I wasn't married a year or two ago.
• How did you get into the points/miles craze?
• I never have liked to carry cash or spend it. Mostly because I feel like it disappears and I don't like going to the bank or ATM. In addition, I couldn't track my purchases. Whenever possible, I pay by card. I only started thinking about points and opening new credit cards with annual fees, thanks to the influence of my boyfriend. He stumbled upon this whole world of travel opportunities using points and influenced me. (It helps that I'm always looking for deals & money saving opportunities - and I gotten bitten by the travel bug at a young age). 
• I noticed you said boyfriend and not fiancé...
• Yes, I'm planning for an imaginary wedding while enjoying my Malibu Dream House with Ken. No, but in all seriousness I'm not engaged, I'm not planning a wedding yet, but I don't think that because there's no bling I can't brainstorm and figure out for when that day comes to be ready to earn maximum amount of points. Hopefully it'll come soon!

• Friends, weddings, magazines, other blogs, and my imagination!

• What are your other interests?
• Besides exploring the world, I love photography and I wish I were better at it. But I'm much too lazy to haul around a SLR, so I never invested in one. I love scrapbooking and quilling. I currently am starting to learn calligraphy (getting ready for those invitations). Lastly I'm a foodie (mostly in the consumption side rather than the preparation side). Though, I have started exploring new recipes in order to express my man, After all isn't the saying the way to a man's heart through his stomach
